June 2006, Larry Cullison resigned as chief of the College Twp. Fire Department. Larry will be working more with MedFlight. The College Township Fire Department Members all wish Larry the best. The College Township Trustees named Robert Hooper as Chief. |

Chief William Smith takes command |
Early 2008 brought changes to the College
Township Fire Department. Robert Hooper who has been Chief since
June 2006 resigns. Hooper was recently named Director of Kenyon
College Office of Campus Safety. The new position takes much more
time out of Bob's life. Bob also runs a full-time farm and raises
cattle. Do to time constraints, Bob decided to resign to spend more
time on his new job and with his family. All members wish Bob the
best and a happy future. Bob originally joined the department in May
1986.
Assistant Chief William Smith was named Chief by the College Township Trustees and has taken over command. Chief Smith is working closely with members and trustees to plan the future direction of the department. |
